Family-Run in Vienna

5 Concepts. 1 Philosophy.

Since 2019, we have been developing modern Vietnamese gastronomy concepts in Vienna.

What began with one restaurant has grown into an expanding hospitality group with several unique concepts — from modern Vietnamese cuisine and cocktail dining to events and catering.

Despite our growth, we remain true to our values.

"We combine Vietnamese food culture with modern hospitality.”

– Tarn

Our philosophy

Authentic. Warm. Modern.

Modern Vietnamese gastronomy stands for far more than authentic cuisine: it brings cultural identity to life and creates places where tradition, craftsmanship, and contemporary food culture come together.

Privacy Policy

Protecting your personal data is important to us. We process your data exclusively in accordance with the statutory provisions, in particular the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the Austrian Data Protection Act (DSG) and the Austrian Telecommunications Act 2021 (TKG 2021). This privacy policy informs you about the key aspects of data processing on our website.

2. Hosting and server log files

This website is hosted by World4You Internet Services GmbH, Hafenstraße 47–51, 4020 Linz, Austria. A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place with the host; data is processed in Austria.

When you visit our website, the web server automatically stores the following data in so-called server log files:

  • IP address of the requesting device
  • date and time of access
  • page or file requested and amount of data transferred
  • referrer URL (previously visited page)
  • browser and operating system used

This processing is based on our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) in the secure and stable operation of the website. This data is not combined with other data sources. Log files are deleted automatically after a short period unless longer retention is necessary to investigate security incidents.

3. SSL/TLS encryption

For security reasons, this website uses SSL/TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by “https://” and the padlock symbol in your browser’s address bar.

4. Cookies and consent management (CookieYes)

Our website uses cookies. Cookies are small text files stored on your device. We use technically necessary cookies on the basis of § 165(3) TKG 2021 and our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). All other cookies (e.g. for statistics) are only set if you have given your prior consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, § 165(3) TKG 2021).

We use the WordPress plugin “CookieYes” to manage your consent. Your choice is stored on your device in the cookie “cookieyes-consent” (storage period: 1 year) so that we can take it into account on future visits. You can withdraw or change your consent at any time with effect for the future via the cookie settings on this website. You can also delete or block cookies in your browser at any time.

5. Web analytics with Google Analytics 4

If you have given your consent, we use Google Analytics 4, a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland (“Google”). Google Analytics uses cookies (e.g. “_ga” and “_ga_*”, storage period up to 2 years) that enable an analysis of how our website is used, such as pages visited, time spent, approximate location, device type and browser. IP addresses are not stored in Google Analytics 4.

The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, § 165(3) TKG 2021), which you can withdraw at any time. Data may be transferred to Google LLC in the USA. Google LLC is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework; the transfer is therefore based on the European Commission’s adequacy decision (Art. 45 GDPR). The collected data is deleted after 14 months at the latest. Further information: policies.google.com/privacy.

6. Google Fonts

To display fonts consistently, this website uses Google Fonts provided by Google Ireland Limited. When you open a page, your browser loads the required fonts from Google servers, which transmits your IP address to Google. A transfer to the USA cannot be ruled out (see EU-US Data Privacy Framework above). The legal basis is our legitimate interest in a consistent and appealing presentation of our website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Further information: developers.google.com/fonts/faq/privacy.

7. Contact by email

If you contact us by email, we process the information you provide (e.g. name, email address, content of your message) to handle your enquiry and any follow-up questions. The legal basis is the performance of pre-contractual measures (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) or our legitimate interest in responding to your enquiry (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). The data is deleted as soon as it is no longer required and no statutory retention obligations apply.

8. Job applications

If you apply for a job with us, we process the data you submit (e.g. contact details, CV, certificates) solely for the purpose of the application process (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR, § 26 DSG). Within the TARN Group, applications may be forwarded to the company or restaurant location concerned. If no employment relationship is established, we delete your data 7 months after the end of the process in order to defend against possible claims under the Austrian Equal Treatment Act – unless you have expressly agreed to longer retention for future vacancies.

9. Links to other websites and reservations

Our website contains links to the websites of our restaurant brands and their reservation options. By clicking a link, you leave our website. The privacy policies of the respective operators apply to any data processing there.

10. Your rights

You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16 GDPR), erasure (Art. 17 GDPR), restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR), data portability (Art. 20 GDPR) and objection (Art. 21 GDPR). You can withdraw any consent given at any time with effect for the future (Art. 7(3) GDPR). To do so, please contact info@tarngroup.at.

If you believe that the processing of your data violates data protection law, you can lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority. In Austria, this is the Austrian Data Protection Authority (Österreichische Datenschutzbehörde), Barichgasse 40–42, 1030 Vienna, dsb@dsb.gv.at, www.dsb.gv.at.
